trade-offs

Last night was my first time in a laundromat in over 7 years.


It wasn't horrible.


But you mentioned a nicer, cleaner laundromat near the apartment.


Can you tell me where that one is?


It's kind of a drag to watch drunk homeless men go through the trash while you're waiting for your clothes to dry.

okay what's up with totally normal looking crazy people?

i just got done watching a moving about war and bombs and then i took jake out for a walk. 1/2 way through i noticed a woman standing behind a post. it looked like she was writing something. she saw me looking at her and ran away like a rabbit. hopping. literally. then i crossed the street and turned to look again. i saw her running back to the post, this time wobbling back and forth like a monkey. then she disappeared. i felt like i was in war for a second. like someone was planting a bomb and that i needed to run.

i had a dream

i had a dream last night that i was back in ca, driving on the 80 headed to the east bay. some familiar guy was driving and all i could do was stare at the teal green water pushing gently on either side of the road. it was tropical seeming. it was amazing. the only thing i could think about was that when i was there i didn't pay enough attention to this amazing water.
